Moses Ohene Biney is a Ph.D. student in the department of sociology at Rice University from Ghana, Africa. His research interests focus on religion, immigration, international migration, and family. Moses holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with a combined major in Sociology and Geography from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Moses previously researched "Christianity and Integration among African Students in Flagstaff, Arizona,” while completing his Master's in Applied Sociology from the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. His research specifically examined the assimilation of African students in Flagstaff and the role the churches in Flagstaff played in that.
